The Flavour of Bucovina

Among the cultural heritage, the breathtaking landscapes, the unaltered customs and traditions, Bucovina combines also diverse culinary traditions, Austrian, Polish, German, Russian and Turkish, but it has remained faithful to the natural ingredients and to the family recipes which have been transmitted further to the newer generations.

The traditional dishes from Bucovina are not very complex. They are mainly composed of ingredients which can be easily found in the area, such as boletus, trout, potatoes and cream. The dishes are not only made for diminishing the hunger, but also for awakening the senses.
